There are still Movin' March prizes to be won! We had lots of students getting involved in Movin' March events and competitions in Term 1.
1. Passport card competition. Each card entered will go in the draw to win one of 12 $400 My Ride vouchers. To enter, students had to get a stamp or signature on their Movin' March passport card for each day they were movin' by foot, bike, scooter or skateboard. Because we went into lockdown in March, some cards were handed in but others would have been incomplete. If you have Movin’March cards at home (complete OR incomplete), it’s not too late for these to be included in the big draw! Just send it in to this address by the 11th of May:

Kirsty Barr
Movin’March
Greater Wellington Regional Council
P O Box 11646 Manners St
Wellington 6142

Make sure your child's full name AND our school name is completed on the card. If you know that your child has been active and so would have been eligible for the draw but can't find a card to complete, send an email to aloma.barry@swis.school.nz by this Friday and we could look at completing a card for your child to be entered as well.
As you can see from our photo, we also had a lot of cards handed in to our school office last term. We will be sending those off for the draw too.
2. The Art Challenge competition has also been extended to Monday 11th May. Templates are downloadable here: www.movinmarch.com/art
and completed entries can be sent to Kirsty's postal address (as above) or scanned & emailed to: schooltravel@gw.govt.nz. There are district and regional prizes to be won.
3. The Movin’Minds mini-movie/slideshow competition for Yr 4-8s has been extended to Monday 11th May as well. Work can be submitted by individuals from home here: www.movinmarch.com/movinminds .
There are also tips on the webpage to help students and parents.
Good luck!
