Looking for something to do tomorrow evening. How about heading along to watch the Wellington Saints basketball team playing at the TSB Arena. Tip off is 7:35, but for true SWIS fans the main event tips off at 6:55 when SWIS take on Mt Cook School in the pregame entertainment. It would be great to have a loud and proud contingent of supporters cheering on SWIS on the big stage. See you there! ... See MoreSee Less

This 2 day tournament was a huge success for the SWIS teams this year. On the first day the girls had a successful day including beating eventual finalists Raroa 1 - 0. Unfortunately a lose to EBIS in the semi put an end to a potential rematch and we eventually finished 4th.
The boys had a successful day as well, dominating their pool before a making their way through the knock out games setting up a rematch against Hutt in the final. This time Hutt reversed the result from pool play to claim a 2 - 1 victory and SWIS finished second. Well done to the players from both teams. You all played with skill and spirit.

Heart breaking 2-1 loss. So proud of the boys. Lot of heart and fight.

1-1!!! Ryan with the equaliser!

Mac with a shot that was heading top corner only for the 7ft keeper to pull of a huge save! SWIS on top early.

SWIS with the first chance. Couldn't quite get on the end of a cross.

Goal against the play. Hutt 1 - 0.

Good luck SWIS!!

Go SWIS!
