Newsletter Jul 19 | Term 2, Week 10

This issue covers:

  • From the Head Students
  • Nga Kemu Māori
  • Mid-Year Reporting
  • Deal and No Deal
  • World Scholars Cup Photos
  • Kate Heads Stateside
  • Keeping Ourselves Safe

For those students new to the school this year it is a great opportunity to reflect on what has happened over the last two terms. At the beginning of February we greeted a bunch of wide-eyed Year 7 students in new uniforms into the SWIS whanau. To look at those same students today they are filled with the same wide-eyed enthusiasm for learning, but the uniforms are starting to show signs of the activities and stories these students have been a part of this half year.

Students wanting a challenge signed up for event 1, which this year was twice around the course and both year levels got to run together. The 2nd event had nearly the whole school entered!
