The SWIS School Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Brendon Henderson as the new Tumuaki | Principal at our kura, commencing in Term 1, 2026.
Brendon brings a wealth of experience in leading intermediate schools, including Tawa and Newlands Intermediate, and is deeply committed to fostering environments where excellence, opportunity, and equity thrive.

The Board also wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Karl Emson, Dan Miller, and Nicola Clissold for their leadership and dedication during this transitional period. Their commitment has ensured stability and continuity in what has been a challenging year.
Brendon will work closely with the Board and Karl over the coming months to ensure a smooth transition and a strong start to 2026.
