Payment for this camp can be made via one of the following three methods:

  • Pay on the HERO app
  • Via internet banking at South Wellington Intermediate School acc no. 12 3141 0338498 00 please add your child’s name, room number and the word camp as a reference. E.g. John8camp
  • Payment at the school office.

If you are willing to pay a little extra to allow other students the opportunity to attend camp, that would be greatly appreciated, as every year, students benefit from the generosity of others.

Parent help required

Each class has a different schedule of events over this two week period and we are seeking adult support for these activities. If you are able to help at one or all of these events for your child’s class, please fill in this form. Classroom teachers will liaise with you to ensure you have the correct dates and information needed for the events.

Those supporting on overnight trips will also need to complete a police vetting form and return it to the office. Please bring with you appropriate identification documents for us see.

Health and Safety

You will have received a hard-copy EOTC Ākonga Health Profile and Permission form to fill in. Please contact your child’s Homeroom teacher if you have not received this.

It is crucial for safety reasons that students follow instructions given to them by all staff and follow all appropriate school rules, this includes no cellphones on any of these trips. Behaviour by students that is deemed dangerous and puts themselves and/or others at undue risk will result in parents being contacted and you may be asked to collect your child.

Please feel free to contact your child’s Classroom teacher with any questions about camp.
