You will have received an alert via text and email early this afternoon around 2.48pm in regards to an incident where a person with a weapon was seen near the school.
After receiving advice from the Police, SWIS followed our school’s emergency procedures and went into lockdown to ensure everyone was kept safe.
A big shout out to all our students and staff for a fantastic response, we’re very proud of how well you all followed instructions and stayed sensible and calm. Aroha nui
